Refund Policy
Version 1.0 · Last updated August 3, 2026
This policy covers refunds for the plans you buy from RyderDie: the single-event license and the annual subscription. It does not cover money you send to other people - trip costs, entry fees, or settlements between players never pass through RyderDie, so there is nothing for us to refund. See the "Money between users" section of our Terms.
Single-event licenses: the 14-day window
If you bought a single-event license, you can request a full refund within 14 days of purchase, no questions asked, as long as the trip it covers has not started. Ask and we will refund it.
This window applies to single-event licenses only. Annual subscriptions are covered in their own section below, and are not subject to it.
After a trip has started
Once a trip has started you can still request a refund, and we will consider it - but granting it is at our discretion, and we will weigh how much the event has been used.
Requests made after a trip has concluded are usually declined. You are still welcome to ask, and we will tell you why if we say no.
What happens to your access if we refund you
If we refund a purchase, we may also end the paid access it bought. Whether we do is decided case by case at the time, and we will tell you which way we have gone.
This matters on a shared trip: ending paid access makes the whole event read-only for everyone on it, not just for the person who was refunded. Nobody loses any data - scores and results stay visible - but the trip can no longer be edited unless it is paid for again. We weigh that before deciding.
Annual subscriptions
You can cancel a subscription at any time. Cancelling stops it renewing; it does not by itself refund the period you are in, and you keep access until that period ends.
If you want a refund for a period that has already started, ask. Whether we grant a full refund, a partial one, or none depends on the circumstances - how much of the period has elapsed, and whether it has been used to run trips. A period that has just started and has not been used for any trip is the clearest case for a full refund.
How to ask
Email support@ryderdie.golf and tell us which trip or subscription you mean and what went wrong. There is no form to fill in and no deadline for asking, though the 14-day window above is the only one that is automatic.
Refunds go back to the original payment method where the processor still allows it; long after a purchase that may no longer be possible, and we will arrange another way. Your bank decides how quickly it appears, which is usually a few business days and outside our control.
Please talk to us before contacting your bank
If something is wrong, asking us is faster than disputing the charge with your bank. A dispute takes weeks or months to resolve and may suspend the paid access on the event while it runs, whereas we can issue a refund directly and usually the same day.
We do respond to every dispute we receive, so a disputed charge is not a shortcut. If we were going to refund you anyway, asking gets you there sooner.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The version and date at the top reflect the policy in force, and the terms that applied when you bought are the ones we will honor.
